A Berks County Tree Crew That Cleans Up After Itself
Locally owned, based in West Reading, and built on the two things people actually judge a tree company by: what happens in the canopy, and what the yard looks like when the truck pulls away.
Two trades, one crew, one phone number
AJ Tree Expert and Landscape LLC is a locally owned tree service and landscaping company working out of West Reading, Pennsylvania. Jose Alba Corza started it doing what most tree work in Berks County actually is — taking down the maple that's too close to the house, clearing the fence line nobody has touched in fifteen years, and grinding out the stump the last guy left behind.
The landscaping side grew out of the tree side, because the question after every removal is the same one: what do we do with the hole in the yard now? So we learned to fix the grade, lay the sod, edge and mulch the beds, and build the patio or the retaining wall that turns the space into something worth looking at. Today the same company that climbs your tree also maintains your lawn.
We work a tight radius on purpose. Reading, the boroughs around it, and out to Fleetwood, Robesonia, and Leesport — close enough that we can walk a property for an estimate the same week you call, and close enough that when a storm comes through, we're already here.
What we stand for
Six standards we hold ourselves to on every project — big or small.
Safety First, Always
Rigging planned, drop zones cleared, and nobody working under a limb that isn't controlled.
Respect for the Tree
Proper cuts, honest advice about what can be saved, and no removal we don't believe in.
Clean Sites
Brush chipped, wood loaded, driveways blown. The cleanup is part of the job, not an extra.
Straight Prices
Walked on site, written down, and the same number on the invoice.
We Show Up
Scheduled day, scheduled crew, and a call if weather moves anything.
Local Accountability
We live and work in the same county you do. That's a strong incentive to do it right.
A better service experience, by design
Generic promises are easy. We focus on the habits that actually make the difference.

A clean, predictable process so you always know what's next.
