Mount Penn

Mount Penn sits on the side of a mountain, and that changes every job. Trees lean downhill toward houses, yards drop away behind the back steps, and rain moves fast enough to take soil with it. We plan removals here around the fall line, not just the property line.

Retaining walls are our most requested landscaping job in the borough. Terracing a steep Mount Penn backyard into two or three flat, usable levels turns unmowable slope into somewhere you'd actually put a table, and a properly drained wall keeps the bank behind the garage where it belongs.

The wooded edge along the Pagoda side of the borough also means constant storm work: hangers in the canopy, limbs across driveways, and leaf loads that overwhelm gutters every October. All of it is on our list.
