Reading

Reading is where we work most, and city trees are their own discipline. Rowhome lots leave no room to fell anything, alleys are narrow, and half the mature silver maples in the older neighborhoods are growing straight into service drops. We rig and lower those trees in sections rather than dropping them, which is slower on site and far cheaper than a new roof.

Across Centre Park, Callowhill, Hampden Heights, Riverside, and Glenside, the two calls we get most are a storm-damaged limb hanging over a sidewalk and a stump that has been in the front yard since the last owner. Both are same-week work for us, and both include hauling everything off rather than stacking it at the curb for the city.

On the landscaping side, city properties get the same crews: small-lot mulch and bed work, sod on strips of yard the size of a parking space, and paver walkways cut cleanly against a hundred-year-old porch. We're on this side of the river every day, so the drive is never part of your price.
